Important Notice: Merchant selling federally regulated products are responsible for compliance with federal mandates, keeping abreast of constantly evolving state laws to know which states you can-and-cannot sell and ship to, having a basic familiarity with card brand requirements (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) as it pertains to federally regulated products, inherent risks, and underwriting guidelines established by sponsoring banks.

Of the nearly two dozen payment processors that offer services to CBD and hemp sellers, KJ Proweb™ has chosen to only work with two payment processors in this industry sector. These two CBD-friendly payment processors took the necessary steps and made the investment into services and tools designed to ensure full compliance with federal mandates, state laws (which our processors constantly monitor), and also support the long term needs of the merchant.

    • Selection and integration of a CBD-friendly payment gateway
    • 24/7/365 PCI compliance
    • PCI non-validation – A PCI non-compliance fee is a fee charged by merchant account providers to merchants who have failed to validate that they are in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Counsel’s (PCI DSS) security requirements for their business type. Without this service a merchant is liable for damages up to $50,000 per incident.
    • 24/7 online fraud monitoring of the online store checkout page with fraud alerts
    • Data breach security monitoring.
    • Purchase threshold security monitoring of $500.00 up to $1,000.00 per transaction. *Amounts over these threshold may required ID verification of the buyer.
